Stamped decorstion and glaze on the underside and stabbing on the rim.
Function
It is possible that these vessels functioned as lids and bowls. Two examples were found alongside highly decorated pitchers 64.01/1 in a house fire deposit at Deansway and they could have been used as lids (Buteux and Jasckson 2000).

Vessels of this type have only been identifed at Deansway, Worcester
