Iron rich clay with fine quartz of <0.2mm, fine white mica, iron ore and clay pellet inclusions.
Red to brown, sometimes with a reduced core.

Unlocated, HEREFORDSHIRE
The source of these vessels has not been identified but it is likely to be Herefordshire. Vessels in this fabric have been found in small quantities in Hereford, Droitwich and Worcester.
Medieval to Post Medieval (15th to 16th century.)
The sherds from Hereford were dated to the mid 16th century. Sherds of a tall flaring rim cup from Deansway, Worcester were dated on typological grounds to the late 15th to 16th century.
